Mind Wanderer

O, wanderer of my mind, how long are you here to stay?

Uninvited you come by, claiming you will not lead me astray.

Will you be like the others who have traversed before you?

Beckoning rampantly, seemingly without an end—

I wearily admit that my flesh implores who—

I cannot have, you see it’s a trend.

Your guise of good intentions keeps me holding on.

Our endearing memories replaying dusk till dawn.

Take me with you and wander alone no more.
